Lonely Vectors - A game made very hastily, with love

This game was made for Major Jam 2, except I decided to join when there was only 20% of jam time left... Admittedly a questionable decision, but I like what I've come up with. Submitted at 4 AM, a whole 2 hours before the deadline!

Gameplay

On the right side, you have a list of poor, lonely vectors, which you must link together to form a happy vector chain from point A (green anchor) to point B (red anchor)! If you happen to place a vector where it intersects with the obstacles, panic will ensue as all anchors break loose. When you managed to connect everything properly, the next level will be loaded after 5 seconds of vector happiness ^-^

this was the jam's limitation)

Controls

Keyboard:

You can use the up/down arrows and page control keys to scroll through the list of vectors. To add a vector, simply type the corresponding letter. You can press Enter at any time to restart the current level, or skip countdowns.

Mouse / touchscreen: You can scroll on the vector list with the mouse wheel, or use the scrollbar on a touchscreen device. Simply single click / tap on a vector to add it. If you use a touchscreen device, the thin scrollbar is the only way to scroll without accidentally adding vectors - this game was not designed for touchscreens, it just happens to work :)

Jam limitations

The limitation for this jam was the following: Textures must fit within one 128x128 image. This was pretty easy for this game, in fact everything fit in a 128x32 image, so I decided to add lots of stupid animations! Here's the link to my 128x128px sprite sheet.
My total development time on this jam was 30 hours (including one full night of sleep and some sanity rest), as a consequence there are only 3 levels available. Among some of the initial gameplay ideas were vectors that would be allowed to cross through walls ;)

Credits

Game and all graphical assets made during the jam, using Godot Engine and Aseprite. The font may be quite similar to the TI-8X+ 5x7 bitmap font, just because I've used it so much it's my go-to for small text. Kudos to my friend Tom for making the base sample of the music loop, which I then reproduced and adapted in VCV Rack.
